After hosting some of the nation’s best running backs this weekend for UGA’s Dawg Night prospect camp, the Bulldogs sent out an offer to one of them on Monday.

Cam Akers, a 4-star recruit from Clinton, Miss., is ranked as the sixth best running back in the class of 2017.
The 5-foot-11, 210-pounder worked out at UGA's Dawg Night alongside a star-studded cast of elite running backs that included Woodward Academy's Elijah Holyfield, Anthony McFarland from Maryland and Devwah Whaley from Texas.
