Southern University wide receiver Devon Gales was severly injured in a game against Georgia in Athens.

Do you believe in miracles? The family of Devon Gales has continually said they do, and they believe may be witnessing one right about now.

Gales is the former Southern University football player who suffered a paralyzing spinal injury in a game against the University of Georgia last fall. Gales was able to move one of his legs under his own power recently. That's according to a video the family posted on their Gales' Facebook page Wednesday and was shared on Baton Rouge television station WAFB Wednesday night.

It shows Gales laying on his back in his bed and lifting his left leg a few inches on the command of his stepmother, Tanisha Gales.

WON'T HE DO IT!!!!! Please keep the prayers going up! GOD IS NOT THROUGH WITH HIM YET!!!!!! My baby is gonna walk again!!!
