Former Hawks top pick Josh Childress hasn’t played in the NBA since 2013.

On Tuesday he became the first player from Ice Cube’s Big 3 basketball league to sign on an NBA roster.

The Denver Nuggets have agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with Childress.

The Hawks’ 2004 sixth overall pick has played in Greece, Phoenix, Brooklyn, New Orleans, Australia and Japan since leaving Atlanta in 2008.

Childress, 34, averaged 9.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in his four NBA stops.
