A trip to the Cubs home opener should have been a great kick-off for Major League Baseball's 2015 season, but many fans at the refurbished Wrigley Field didn't spend their time in their seats, or even waiting for their ballpark fare, they waited in line, long lines to use the bathroom Sunday night.
Now the Cubs club is doing a mea culpa after some of the bathrooms in the stadium didn't work.
WGN reported two of the four facilities on the upper deck stopped working temporarily forcing fans with "emergencies" to a lower deck.
The Chicago Tribune reported that the bathrooms were actually flooded and that people waited an hour for their chance to use the bathrooms in the lower levels.
Others decided the lines were too long and used an alternate means of relief according to Bleacher Report - their beer cups that were then left in a corner for disposal.
Of course, Twitter was the place to go, to post the displeasure in the situation.
The Cubs responded that they are going to add portable units to the restrooms and will keep an eye on wait times.
The bathrooms were not the only problem Sunday night.
People who live near the ballpark said the noise from the game was louder than usual.
The announcements and organ music was heard a mile away from the ballpark, according to The Chicago Tribune.
