A woman was pulled over for allegedly driving with a do-it-yourself license plate, Massachusetts State Police said Friday.
The woman was driving on Rte. 495 when a trooper saw the "obvious" license plate violation. It appears the woman made her own plate using cardboard and a sharpie.
Police said the woman had a warrant and was subsequently arrested.
At the time, there was a cat in a carrier in the passenger seat. Police took care of the cat while the woman was booked. The cat left with her when she was released on bail.
Authorities did not identify the woman.
