Huge delays through Atlanta after crash on Downtown Connector
By Breaking News Staff
Jan 4, 2016A crash on the Downtown Connector temporarily blocked all lanes and created massive backups during the height of Monday morning’s commute — the first day many across metro Atlanta returned to work and school after the long holiday break.
All lanes reopened just before 8:30 a.m., but the Downtown Connector remained a mess north of 14th Street, according to WSB’s Mark McKay.
At one point, Mark Arum in the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center reported trips of more than one hour from Highway 166 to 17th Street.
