1. A different kind of airport hassle.  Hartsfield-Jackson says it is kicking off construction work this week for a $6 billion renovation and expansion, part of a 20-year plan. Get ready for a 'pardon-our-dust' period.

2. Try to wrap your head around this.  The GOP gathers next month in Cleveland to nominate Donald Trump for president, but John Kasich, Republican governor of Ohio, has so far refused to endorse the presumptive ballot-topper.

3. Ambulance crashes through neighborhood. Police say Kyle Lathon, 22, took control of the ambulance from his crew partner and pulled a knife on him before a damaging drive. And that’s not all that happened.
4. Breaking down the Braves’ games, so far. Get the graphic (and ugly) skinny on Atlanta’s dismal final season at Turner Field. A few losses have been heartbreakingly close.

5. What's the forecast for today? In a phrase: Thunderstorms, lightning, possible hail. All in time for the afternoon commute.
