Q: Have the Gwinnett Braves selected a nickname yet?

—Lynn Hammond, Canton

A: The Gwinnett Braves organization has not selected an official nickname yet, Dave Lezotte, the team's media relations manager, told Q&A on the News via email. While Lezotte said the team hasn't set an official date to reveal the name, the AJC previously reported an announcement would likely come in late October or mid-November.

The organization released a list of six finalist names in July, with fans being given the chance to vote for their favorite. Among the choices were the Gwinnett Buttons, Gwinnett Big Mouths, Gwinnett Gobblers, Gwinnett Hush Puppies, Gwinnett Lambchops and Gwinnett Sweet Teas. The official voting period has since ended.

Q: I read your article about the Laurel and Hardy Museum of Harlem, Georgia, and I would like to check it out, but you have no mention of an address. Where is the museum located?

– T. Parkington

A: Georgia's Laurel and Hardy Museum is located in the small town of Harlem, about 20 miles west of Augusta on I-20 off Exit 183. The street address is 250 N. Louisville St., Harlem, Ga. 30814. The museum's phone number is 706-556-0401 and the website is laurelandhardymuseum.com.

Harlem is the birthplace of Oliver Hardy and home to one of three museums in the world dedicated to the comedy duo of Laurel and Hardy. Ulverston, England, the birthplace of Stan Laurel, houses another, and the town of Solingen, Germany hosts the third.
