Q: I noticed on “Dancing With the Stars” that Chris Soules’ fiancee was not in the audience as she has been every week. Chris and his partner seemed pretty tight. Is the engagement with Chris and Whitney Bischoff on or off?

A: Bischoff missed Soules' performance on "Dancing With the Stars" to be with her family on the 10th anniversary of her mother's death, he told the media.
Soules and partner Witney Carson were eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars,” and after Tuesday’s show, he told the media that he and Bischoff are going strong.
“I know she’s there for me, and when all this is over, it will be nice to just be together,” Foxnews.com reported he said.
Bischoff was seen without Soules at the Kentucky Derby this past weekend, leading to rumors that the couple was splitting. She’s from Louisville, Ky.
“She was definitely bummed that this was the final dance, and she wasn’t able to be here,” Soules told Us Weekly. “But she was doing things for herself, and she was with her family, where she should be.”
Soules told People that Bischoff will move to Arlington, Iowa, where he is a farmer.
“I’m excited to just get back to what I’m good at,” he said. “Dancing is not what I’m good at. I got as good as I could possibly get, but I’m going to go do things that come natural to me.”
Soules and Bischoff were engaged on “The Bachelor” finale, which was filmed last November, but aired in March.
He also was a contestant on an earlier season of “The Bachelorette.”
