The Georgia General Assembly at a glance for Wednesday, Day 17 of the 2018 legislative session:

Money day: Georgia's candidates for governor and other elected offices must disclose how much money they've raised so far by a deadline Wednesday. The 2018 gubernatorial campaign is expected to be the most expensive in history, exceeding a combined $10 million already. Republican Casey Cagle will likely lead the pack with about $4 million raised this period. Among Democrats, Stacey Abrams has brought about $1.7 million this period. Cagle's Republican competitors include Brian Kemp, Michael Williams, Hunter Hill and Clay Tippins. Abrams wll face Stacey Evans in the Democratic contest.

City of Sharon Springs: A proposal to create the city of Sharon Springs in Forsyth County could be voted on by the Georgia House. The Sharon Springs cityhood proposal, House Bill 626, would include about 50,000 people and require approval from 57.5 percent of voters to incorporate.

Health and opioids: Health care measures meant to fight the opioid crisis and create a Health Coordination and Innovation Council could move on to the state House. The measures, Senate Bill 352 and Senate Bill 357 might get votes in the Senate on Wednesday.

Busy committees: Dozens of bills will get their chance to move forward when they're heard in committee. The House has scheduled 18 committee meetings Wednesday, while the Senate has planned eight.
