Next week marks the last chance for residents to share their ideas on the River Parks Master Plan in Roswell. The city will hold its last meeting seeking ideas from the public for the plan at 7 p.m. Thursday at Roswell River Landing, 245 Azalea Drive.
The master plan will guide the best way to develop the city-owned Riverside Road acreage, which was the home of ACE Sand Company for many years. City officials want to hear what residents would like to see on the land along the river in terms of parks, recreation areas, restaurants and shops.
This is the last of three public meetings as the city gathers data and research to draft the plan. The other meetings were held in February and March of this year.
City officials haven't publicly announced a timetable for development of the plan- or property, but said the Riverside area will be a key addition to the city's 900-plus acres of park land.
