A man facing DUI and vehicular homicide charges in the wedding night death of his new bride has been arrested on a new DUI charge.

Ryan Quinton, 28, of Jasper, was arrested Saturday around 1 a.m. in Pickens County after a chemical test showed his blood alcohol level to be .158, according to a news release from the Pickens Sheriff’s Office.

Quinton, who is out on bond from Cherokee County in connection with his wife's death, was pulled over most recently after a Georgia State Patrol deputy stopped him for failure to maintain his lane of traffic and failure to stop at a stop sign, according to the release.

In the Dec. 29 crash that killed Kali Dobson, 25, the GBI crime lab determined Quinton’s blood-alcohol level was 0.114. The legal limit for most drivers in Georgia is 0.08.

Quinton’s bond from that arrest has been revoked, Lt. Jay Baker with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office said. Quinton is in custody at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
