In honor of the 95th birthday of the fifth-oldest roller coaster in the world, one man has ridden the Jack Rabbit at Kennywood Park 95 times in one day.

Vic Kleman, 82, of Pittsburgh, has kept track of how many times he’s been on the Jack Rabbit since his first ride in 1959.

Kleman began riding the roller coaster at approximately 10:30 a.m. Sunday and broke the 5,000-ride barrier just after 7:30 p.m., spending a total of nine hours on the coaster.

“The thrill of riding the Jack Rabbit never gets old for me,” Kleman said. “It just makes me feel good.”

“It takes a certain kind of commitment, and craziness, to ride a roller coaster 95 times in a row," said Jerome Gibas, Kennywood general manager. "But those are the kind of feelings Kennywood creates in people."

Kleman said he felt great after finishing the feat and added he made sure to exercise his legs after sitting down for so long.
