A 12-year-old girl was in her Auburn, Massachusetts, home during a break in, and talked to FOX25 exclusively about it Monday night.
The moment the young girl realized someone was breaking into her home, she called 911.
"There is a guy trying to break in and I don't know what to do," she said on the 911 call.
We concealed her identity to protect her safety.
"A guy without a car just came up here, he took the glass door and he just kept knocking on the door and he was wrestling with it," she said.
Without thinking twice, she shot some cellphone video of the suspect from a bedroom window.
"A friend was calling me, I'm like not now, I'm in the middle of the robbery," she said.
The break-in happened at about 2:30 Monday afternoon on Hampton Street. Auburn police say he used a tool to try and pry open the front door.
Minutes later, police showed up and arrested 53-year-old Clinton Joyce. Ironically, police say he is on probation and parole for the same thing, breaking into homes.
