The incident reportedly occurred in 2013 after a family member raped the girl, then 14. When the teen was eight months' pregnant, Sharon Jones gave her "multiple doses of birth control pills, Plan B [emergency contraception] pills and cinnamon tablets … to abort the baby," police said. Later, Lonnell McDonald allegedly bounced on the girl's abdomen and kicked her while Cecila McDonald reportedly held the teen down.

Police said the girl began to bleed heavily and gave birth to a stillborn baby. Family members reportedly tried to burn the body in a grill, then paid Cedric Jones $25 to dispose of the body.
"We want to commend the victim for her bravery for coming forward to report this unbelievable crime," Dallas police Deputy Chief Gil Garza said.
