Students filming a video project near the student union caused a lockdown at Arkansas State University Sunday.
Two costumed actors wearing all black and carrying pistols were reported as potential intruders, according to KAIT.
"These students have been located and interviewed by University Police Officers," according to a university release. "As a result, it has been confirmed that there was no gunman on campus."
The university sent an alert out around 2 p.m. The lockdown was lifted about an hour later.
Jonesboro police confirmed the lockdown was lifted and there were no shots fired.
