Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Sunday claimed that evidence that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is ill can be found "online."

Serving as a surrogate for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, Giuliani wondered during a “Fox News Sunday” interview why the news media was not speaking about Clinton’s supposedly failing health – a reference to unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.

Giuliani accused Clinton of not running a real campaign and said the media was on her side.

The media “fails to point out several signs of illness by her. All you've got to do is go online," he said.

Giuliani added, “Go online and put down ‘Hillary Clinton illness’ and take a look at the videos for yourself.”

Clinton's physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, has refuted similar claims, saying Clinton "is in excellent health" and adding that so-called medical documents that supposedly had been "leaked" online were fake.

"These documents are false, were not written by me and are not based on any medical facts," the statement said.

Earlier this month, Drudge Report released a "breaking" picture of Clinton being assisted as she walked up the stairs. The picture did not have any context and was found to be several months old by Snopes. Even so, conspiracy outlets picked up the story without verification, and several chose to link other incidents together to create a narrative about Clinton's supposedly fading health.
