The U. S. Department of Agriculture has announced a recall of almost 50 tons of chicken products after an ingredient was not listed on the label.

VICS Acquisition said its Happi Foodi Bloody Mary Inspired Chicken, Southeast Grocers brand Marsala Chicken and Southeast Grocers brand Mediterranean Herb Chicken items could contain eggs that are not declared on the products' labels, according to the USDA. The recall covers about 99,975 pounds of chicken products.

The following items are included in the recall:

The meals were sold in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina under the Southeast Grocers brand. The Happi Foodi brand was shipped nationwide. All were produced from Aug. 7 through Oct. 15, 2018. They also all have the establishment number “P-34622.”

If you have the chicken meals, the USDA encourages you to not to consume them and either throw the items away or return them to the store from which they were purchased.
