A manufacturer of some Johnsonville producrs has issued a recall involving one variety of the company's sausage patties.
The company has recalled the frozen variety of its Johnsonville Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Grillers because they may contain metal fragments.
It posted the recall notice on the company's website.
The recall affects 6-count cartons of 1/4 lb. frozen patties with a best flavor by date of 122915 and an establishment number of EST425B.
It was made by Kenosha Beef International, LLC and was shipped to 11 states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Texas and Wisconsin.
If consumers have the recalled sausage, they are being directed to call Johnsonville's consumer relations team at 1-888-556-2728 or fill out a form that is found on the contact us section of the Johnsonville website by clicking here.
