This is one Monopoly game that ended with only winners.
According to Mashable, Reddit user Justin Lebon and his girlfriend, Michal Ott, love to play the classic game together. That's why he teamed up with his friend, woodworker Mark Becker, to create a custom board for an adorable marriage proposal. The game swapped traditional spots like Park Place and Boardwalk for the couple's favorite places and even included a hidden compartment.
The fun started on Christmas Day 2014, when Lebon gave Ott the board as a gift. As the couple played the game, Ott pulled a "Chance" card that left her speechless: "Will you marry me? If yes, advance to luxury tax." There, Ott found the secret compartment with an engagement ring. Of course, she said yes.
"It took a lot of planning, but I enjoyed every second of it," he wrote, according to Elite Daily. "I'll never forget that day."
Buzzfeed reports that the two are planning a wedding in Maui in 2017.
