A Lochbuie, Colorado, mother has been arrested on child abuse charges after a video surfaced on YouTube and Facebook allegedly showing her abusing her son.
Katrina Kennedy-Flores, 27, appears to be yelling at the toddler about a lost phone charger, according to KUSA.
Cell phone video captures the incident.
The woman who recorded the video told KMGH she shared it on the Internet because she did not think police were doing enough.
She said she did not intervene because she has difficulty moving around and feared for her life.
A.C. Ramirez, of the Lochbuie Police Department, told The Denver Post Kennedy-Flores can be seen picking up and slamming a booster seat on the floor next to the toddler and and "hitting on or around" the child.
Police said the found bruises on the toddler's arms and the back of his legs.
Kennedy-Flores appeared in court via courtroom video Thursday. A judge ordered $3,000 and that she is not in contact with her son or anyone under 18.
She is due back in court May 27.
