Two shark bites were reported Friday in New Smyrna Beach and Cocoa Beach.
Officials in Cocoa Beach said a 14-year-old girl vacationing from Ohio was bit on the foot near International Palms Resort.
The girl alerted the lifeguard and was taken to a local hospital, where she was treated.

It's the second time in nearly a week a teenager was bitten by a shark in New Smyrna.
Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue said a 19-year-old woman was swimming in waist-deep water when she was bitten on her foot.
The injury was minor, and the woman was treated on the scene.
Last week, a 17-year-old surfer was bitten on the foot near the Ponce Inlet.
Earlier this week, a 13-year-old Seminole County girl was bitten on the foot in Cocoa Beach. She underwent surgery Friday to repair damage in her Achilles tendon.
