A family camping trip turned deadly for an 8-year-old boy from Washington.
Micah Love was killed when he and his family were at a campsite in Ferry County, Washington, KHQ reported.
Micah's parents Joshua and Emily Love said he was playing with his older brother when he missed a catch. Micah went after the ball at the same time his grandfather and another family member downed a tree.
The tree fell on Micah.
He died of his injuries at a local hospital.
Now, Joshua and Emily Love are considering setting up a foundation to honor their son and to help underprivileged children play sports. Micah, according to Joshua Love, played baseball, basketball and football.
The family also set up a donation page to help pay for the child's funeral costs.
