Police are looking for three people who stole a duck from a neighborhood in Jacksonville, Florida, tortured it and then left its carcass in a car right in between two children's car seats.
WJAX-TV obtained video that may help police find the people responsible.
The neighborhood is loaded with cameras but that didn't stop the group of guys from allegedly grabbing the duck and killing it.
The home security video shows the alleged suspects walking at around 3 a.m. last Wednesday. Neighbors said one of them grabbed the duck off-camera and then ran.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office report on the incident says a neighbor discovered the dead duck with its throat slit later that morning.
The duck was placed inside that neighbor’s unlocked car between two kids car seats.
Neighbors say these suspects may also be responsible for a bunch of car break-ins in this neighborhood.
One victim says she's seen video from a different neighbor's camera that shows the suspect the suspects committing both crimes.
No arrests have been made.
