A dog was taken into protective custody after being left in a hot car in Burien.
Burien police tweeted photos of the dog.
The car was 103 degrees inside, according to police.
Officials responded to a report that the dog had been in the hot car for over two hours.
The owner will be cited, according to police.
‘No excuse for it!’ tweeted the Burien police department.
