The numbers are soggy, like a cornflake sitting in milk, but cereals are still the go-to for many for that kick to get started in the morning.
So what is the most popular cereal to fill our bowls?
According to The Washington Post, that big yellow box of Cheerios sold the best last year. As the company's website says, it apparently been "a family favorite for over 70 years."
Other considerably "healthy" cereals rank high on the list like Muesli, Special K and Kashi.
Then the sugar comes in with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms (they are "magically delicious") and Froot Loops pour into the middle part of the list.
General Mills's, makers of Lucky Charms, Total and Cheerios, numbers are out and they're not good according to CNBC. The company reported lower sales for six quarters in a row, hurt, according to analysists by a stronger dollar. The good news, however, is that the earnings, CNBC reported, were higher than expected.
