A clerk chased away two men who tried to rob a store late Saturday night in West Seattle, Seattle police said.

The incident happened at about 10 p.m. when two masked men walked into the store and pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

According to police, the clerk recognized the gun the men had was fake.

The clerk reached for his own gun and told the men that his gun was “bigger.”

The two men then fled the scene.

When officers arrived, they checked the area for the men but could not find them.
