“City of Boston parking enforcement is BRUTAL,” Elisabeth Ryan posted on Twitter Wednesday, along with a photo of a ticketed toy car parked on a sidewalk on Commonwealth Avenue in Allston.

“This toy car has a parking violation on it,” Levitt wrote. “SO BOSTON it hurts.”

Ryan noted the envelope was authentic, but she didn’t check whether a citation was inside.

“Someone had one too many juice boxes,” Chris Jarvis joked in a reply to Ryan.
