A bloom 10 years in the making is on its way, and it is likely going to stink for days.
The corpse flower, named because its flower emits a foul odor, is going to bloom soon for the first time at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
As of Tuesday, the flower has not bloomed, according to garden officials.
"Don't know when bloom will occur," officials posted on Twitter. "Could be later this week."
