A draft of the Senate health care bill that was written behind closed doors was finally unveiled to the public Thursday morning.

The draft gets rid of the Obamacare mandate requiring individuals to buy insurance and includes big reductions to Medicaid, eliminating Obamacare's taxes on the wealthy, insurers and others.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell released a draft of the bill, which is already being criticized for its similarity to the House health care bill.
The new plan would, however, keep Obamacare's subsidies to help people pay for individual coverage.
A vote on the bill is expected before next week’s July 4 congressional recess.
