Zoning hearings postponed by HenryCounty commissioners

Four public hearings on zoning matters were postponed by the Henry County Board of Commissioners and removed from the July 7 meting agenda.

That meeting was conducted via video conference after in-person meetings were suspended until further notice due to employee exposure to COVID-19. Four applicants were affected: requests for modification to zoning conditions for two separate applicants involving property on Jonesboro Road; a rezoning request for a 1.7-acre site at 931 Rock Quarry Road, to permit an assisted living and hospice care facility; and a rezoning for 11.2 acres south of Dailey Mill Road and east of Dailey Walk, for a single-family residential subdivision.
