The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office canceled an alert Thursday night for a 14-year-old girl who disappeared from her family's Canton home earlier in the day.
"The 14 missing girl from Canton has been located and is OK," Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman for the Cherokee Sheriff's Office, said in an email set shortly before 10 p.m.
Briana Marks was last seen about 3 p.m. at her home in the 12000 block of Bells Ferry Road near Ridge Pine Drive, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
