The Woodstock City Council has accepted, pending the city attorney’s approval, a consultant’s $96,720 fee for the planning and design of Little River Park.

The city awarded the contract to GreenbergFarrow in November, has completed the fee negotiation process and has been working to finalize the contract. The planning process is to begin after the first of the year.

The architectural and engineering firm’s proposal includes a kickoff meeting, data collection, schematic design document preparation, and final master plan report.

GreenbergFarrow also proposes community participation with three main components: a community workshop, online and social media, and a public meeting.

Little River Park, named for the watercourse that runs through the northern portion of the site, will be off Trickum Road near Barnes Road.
