Cherokee County School District opened the window Feb. 1 for school choice reassignments and transfer requests for the 2017-18 school year.

Sixteen Cherokee schools are “open,” meaning classroom space is available to accept students seeking to transfer in from outside their attendance zones, officials said. The window for transfer requests closes March 1.
