The Georgia Department of Transportation has created a video to help educate the public on how to maneuver through the U.S. 78 and State Route 124/Scenic Highway intersection. Drivers will soon begin navigating through the new displaced left turn lanes in Snellville.
The reconfigured intersection will include a two-legged displaced left turn with dual left-turn lanes offset from the through lanes on the east and west legs of Highway 78. Dedicated right-turn lanes will allow drivers on southbound Highway 124 (toward Lithonia) and vehicles heading west on Highway 78 (toward Stone Mountain) to navigate through the area easier.
