Crime victims and their families can meet with the State Board of Pardons and Paroles and state probation staff to discuss their offender on Monday at Tift College. The parole board and the department of corrections timed the event to coincide with National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. About 300 crime victims have registered to meet with board staff. Victims can also register to be notified of changes in the convict's status, such as prison release. The event is 10 am to 4 pm, State Offices South at Tift College in Forsyth.
