Duluth is working with contractors to install new traffic signals at Rogers Bridge Road and Main Street and at Duluth High School and State Route 120 (Abbotts Bridge Road). Drivers will have noticed some work has been done, but there have been delays in the fabrication of the mast arms. The traffic signals should be fully installed over the next several months.

GTG Traffic Signals is responsible for the work at Rogers Bridge Road and Main Street at a total cost with engineering fees and contingency of $300,000. Per the city’s agreement with Gwinnett, the city is responsible for 19 percent of the project costs, or $57,000.

The Dickerson Group is responsible for the signal project near Duluth High School. The project budget totals $352,000. Per the city’s agreement with Gwinnett, the city is responsible for 19 percent of the project’s cost, or $66,880.

Duluth will cover their costs using 2017 SPLOST funds.
