The front office at three Fayette County schools will be home to three new assistant principals starting July 13.

Charles Harper Jr., formerly an instructional content coach at Flat Rock Middle School, will become the new assistant principal at Kedron Elementary, replacing Vicki Rachels. Jesse Williams will replace Christine Castagna as assistant principal of Fayetteville Elementary. At Fayette County High, Johnathan Hall will replace C. Mark Henderson as assistant principal.

All three appointments were approved 3-0-2 (with Barry Marchman and Roy Rabold absent) at the Board of Education’s June 1 work session. The vote was taken at the work session instead of the upcoming June 15 regular meeting so that the new administrators could begin participating in planning meetings regarding the reopening of classes for the fall semester.
