Now you can buy a book and help save a pet.

The Georgia authors will discuss and sign copies of their dog-related books during an event sponsored by Mostly Mutts Rescue and Adoption from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 2700 Town Center Drive, Suite 124.

Part of the proceeds from sales will benefit Mostly Mutts.

Mostly Mutts, based in Kennesaw, provides a variety of services, including housing, training, physical and emotional care to abandoned, abused and neglected animals. The nonprofit, which relies on private donations and adoption fees, has saved more than 6,500 animals from being euthanized.
