Theme announced for Old Soldiers Day Parade

Alpharetta and American Legion Post 201 will present the 59th annual Old Soldiers Day Parade Aug. 6 beginning at City Hall. This year’s parade theme is “My Flag, My Country: Worth Fighting For.”

The event begins at 9:15 a.m. with a performance by the Alpharetta City Band, followed by a special program. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. in front of City Hall, 2 South Main, and ends at the American Legion Post at Wills Road.
