Little more than a year after the first live touring production of the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" TV show came to Atlanta, the event is returning.

The show, whose plot revolves around a man forced to sit through B movies with his robot companions, ran for a decade beginning in 1988. It returned last year as a Netflix Original Series following a Kickstarter campaign to bring it back. Six new MST3K episodes will premiere on Thanksgiving.

Creator Joel Hodgson and the show's new host, played by Jonah Ray, will appear live on stage at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Two different shows will be performed on Oct. 21.

The 3 p.m. performance features "The Brain," which a press release describes as "a Canadian science fiction suburban nightmare." The 7 p.m. act goes with "Deathstalker II," a film that includes "clones, Amazons and mysticism." Prices vary.
