As part of its commitment to being a Tree City USA, Suwanee will plant elm or oak trees behind the Municipal Court/Crossroads Center at 323 Buford Highway beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the planting.

“While planting an oak or elm tree might sound arduous, we promise that helping to plant these trees really is not back-breaking work. Just about anyone can do it, and it’s a great way to give back to the environment and to make an impact on the community for many years to come,” said City Planner Dan Robinson,

Suwanee has been a Tree City USA for 25 years. To volunteer, contact Dan Robinson at drobinson@suwanee.com.
