Cold air is expected to exit North Georgia by Sunday evening, leaving drier conditions for the first half of the workweek.
Temperatures are expected to be warmer than usual, hovering in the mid- to high 60s throughout the week, Deon said, but rain could return Thursday and Friday.

Traffic shouldn't be too bad Sunday as there isn't any major roadwork on Atlanta's interstates this weekend, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. But motorists could see some delays in Fulton County as the Georgia Department of Transportation continues its Transform 285/400 Project.
Overnight detours at the Abernathy Road on-ramp to the southbound lanes of Ga. 400 are expected to continue through Friday.
