Sugar Hill’s contractor, Sunbelt Asphalt, recently began road repairs on streets in the city between Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Buford Highway Northeast. Construction on this project began in March with crack-sealing. The cul de sacs on Brogdon Road (Brogdon Park Court, Brogdon Place Cove, Brogdon Exchange, Creek Park, and Mendi Court) have been repaired and resurfaced during the first stage of the construction process.
The next stage is underway in the Frontier Forest neighborhood on Frontier Drive and Forest Green where patching will be the extent of the immediate repairs until water main improvements are completed. Soon repairs will begin on Hidden Meadow Way, Hidden Meadow Circle, Old Suwanee Road, Pine Acre Drive, Cook Drive, and Railroad Avenue.
The final group will include Hillcrest Drive, Spring Hill Drive, Edingborough Place, Wetherby View, Sadie Court, Tallent Drive, and Richland Creek Court.
The project involves nearly 6 miles of roadway improvements.
Drivers are reminded to use caution near work crews and expect a few delays. The SPLOST-funded work is weather-dependent and may take several weeks to complete.
