Sugar Hill recently held their annual celebration honoring the community’s outstanding volunteers. Sugar Hill’s city council members hosted the event to acknowledge the contribution volunteers make in shaping the city’s culture.
Kathryn Baskin was recognized as the 2019 Volunteer of the Year. She volunteers with the Sugar Hill Historic Preservation Society and Sugar Hill Area Women’s Club.
Steve Graessle was honored as Community Champion of the Year. He volunteers his time with both the Sugar Hill Community Garden and Friends of the Greenway.
The city is grateful to all the volunteers and staff that contribute to making the community so strong.
