While city offices remain closed, staff is teleworking and in-person gatherings are on hold, Stockbridge’s procurement department has launched online bid openings to conduct business during the COVID-19 situation.
According to a city statement, bid openings go live online every Wednesday at 12:01 p.m. Eastern time. Bidding opportunities will be posted on the city’s website, which will be updated on a regular basis. According to officials, the procurement department “will make every effort to develop a comprehensive procurement practice, which promotes fair, transparent, progressive and open competition in the procurement process, while developing successful relationships with all vendors.”
