Stockbridge is spending $76,400 to have the city’s new logo painted on four of its water towers.
The project was officially approved by the City Council during a vote at its May 13 regular meeting, and the money will be paid from the city’s general fund in three equal installments of $25,467. The work will be done by American Tank Maintenance, which has been under contract with the city for just over a year to do structured inspection services such as washout and visual along with all repair and painting of the tanks.
The council also approved a $24,780 expenditure for the addition of 10 parking spaces at the trailhead for Reeves Creek Trail.
