Some neighbors in the Old Fourth Ward are having their spring cleaning for the neighborhood Saturday. The Fourth Ward Alliance plans to start the cleanup in the area including Glen Iris Drive, East Avenue, Highland Avenue and parts of Ralph McGill Boulevard and then branch out as time permits.
Volunteers can expect coffee and donuts from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bringheavy duty trash bags and any helpful tools . Donations are welcome to help cover costs of other tool rental. Meet at the corner of East Ave and Prospect Place.
