Smyrna announced plans to resurface 11 streets with funding from the state and city.
The Georgia Department of Transportation will provide a grant of $460,079.
The city will supply a required 30 percent match of $138,024 in Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax funds.
This funding was approved 7-0 recently by the Smyrna City Council.
