Roswell city officials said the Fulton County Schools has postponed plans for construction along Thomas Drive near Ga. 92 that had been set to commence July 6. A statement from the city said they’ve been advised that the county’s contractor will resume as soon as its schedule allows.

Thomas Drive runs just south of the new West Roswell Elementary School being built by the district along Ga. 9/Alpharetta Highway. The upcoming project will involve a realignment of the roadway.

Officials said that once started, the project is expected to take about five working days and involve the closure of the Ga. 92/Thomas Drive intersection.
